    I needed a Cat 6 network cable. I bought a Cat 6 network cable. I only wanted a 3 footer, but 8 foot was the shortest they had. However, it does work as expected.

    It works fine, and I already had an Insignia one that was 30', but it was a good bit more expensive than the cheapest one. I'm not sure if it's higher quality, or I was just a sucker. The main reason I got it was that I could pick it up that day, instead of waiting until the next week.
