However, when we switched to AT&T Fiber, I had an issue with the gateway not recognizing the port's speed at 1Gig, but instead 100M. This caused my internet's speed to be limited to around 90Mbps. When I switched out the cable for another one I had, that fixed the issue.

If you're an avid gamer or have a console like that of the Xbox One, I'm sure you know by now that most newer consoles have built in wifi. However, it takes ages for anything to download nor can you watch anything in peace without buffering every two seconds. I bought this cable cord and immediately everything I hated about my console did a complete 180. I always knew wired connection made a difference but this exceeded all expectations.
