Excellent fast Ethernet cable that has worked perfectly since installed connecting a fiber-optic modem to a high speed router. Terminal head fits easily into the socket with a lock/release lever guard to prevent accidental release and facilitate easy disconnect. The cable is colored Navy "Gull gray," apparently a futile effort to make it less visible. If you have ever seen the side of a battleship or an F/A-18, THAT's Gull Gray. Beautiful!!

My work laptop stopped connecting via Wifi, and the Catch-22 was what you'd expect. Had to have the cable to connect to router to fix the wifi. Checked Best Buy online, site showed the cable in stock, person in the store knew exactly where it was. Whole time spent on purchase including time online and in the store was easily less than ten minutes.

Cable works great. Seems to be well made and strong enough to take the moving around that it will get.

And you're using a Gigabit router but you're still using CAT 5 cable?Because of its improved transmission performance and superior immunity from external noise, systems operating over category 6 cabling will have fewer errors vs. category 5e for current applications. This means fewer re-transmissions of lost or corrupted data packets under certain conditions, which translates into higher reliability for category 6 networks compared to category 5e networks

This internet cable fit well in the openings of the router and the modem. I was impressed with their measurements.

I needed this for work and it's doing exactly what I need it to do.

It did what I needed it to at the time (and I needed a cable quick when it grabbed it from the shelf), but if I had had the time and done a little more research, I would have found that you can get much better cables cheaper. Current standard is a Cat-8...a quick search on bestbuy.com only yielded up to Cat-7, so just be aware of the specs before you buy and make sure the cable is adequate for your needs. And if you're looking for something "future proof", then probably should step up from a Cat-6 to a more recent standard.

Good price for. a long cord. Worked, did what we needed it to do. Good price in store. Easy to find.

Even though I purchased used one. The packaging was good. And it works fine with my smart television. So, one can buy used one as well. Nothing to worry. Thank you Best Buy!
