    So until wi-fi can actually be as fast as a wired connection for gaming, stop listening to your children complain, get a wired cable as long as necessary and boost their gaming 20x. The child was getting 4mbs playing on average, with the cable he gets about 20/40mbs, depending on how much is being shared in the house. A significant difference for sure and they stopped whining!
