Annoying Humming Noise

There was an annoying humming noise that could be heard. I thought the subwoofer was defective, thus returning it for a replacement. When I hooked up the replacement subwoofer with the cable, the noise was still there. I then purchased a Monster400SW Subwoofer Cable, and when I connected it to the subwoofer the humming noise was completely gone. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this cable.

Humming sound

Those reviews were right. Connected the cable to my receiver and subwoofer and the hum was there. Replaced it with a Monster Essentials Subwoofer Cable (same price as the Insignia) and the hum was no longer there. One can tell by just looking at the Monster cable that it is a much better quality cable.
