My router was on the other side of the room of where my workstation is. It was super easy to simply tape the cable to the edge of the floor all the way to the station. works like a charm. Also, the Best Buy agent was extremely helpful in pointing me to the correct cable to use for my purpose.

Very good Cat-6 ethernet cable

Length is good and the cable is pliable enough to easily run it where I needed without buckling or twisting. Color of mine is gray.
