When I got home, and hooked things up, it turned out, I had to move devices around, so I didn't need the cable after all. However, I will keep it as a spare, in case the current 50 foot Ethernet Cable I have ends up going bad.

I ended up going to our cable company to pick up the router/modem for our internet connection. Since I got in right before they closed to pick up my products, I didn't pay attention to the fact that the rep had forgotten to include the wires, by then it was too late. So, because I wanted my internet/wifi that night, I decided to head over to Best Buy and see what they had in stock. These wires were for faster/stronger connection and it worked excellent! I'm so happy I picked these up vs. waiting to see what the cable company would give me. I also use the wifi for my smart t.v. and I've had excellent experience with the connection. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought this 50 foot Ethernet, and it works like an absolute charm! Super fast download speeds, never laggy, and great reach!

ethernet for the win
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.ether net cable how much can one say about a fourteen foot ether net cable? 50 words worth It is a pleasing yet neutral shade of grey It seems to be the proper and described length and functions well Many of us do not particularly trust to wireless technology why when we were children we were lucky if we could catch all 8 bits. WE had to carry our packets in a bucket and floppy discs were still floppy and nearly a foot wide. how times change it is a nice enough cable

Ethernet internet connection issue solved

I'm required to be hard-wired for work. I didn't realize what a difference this cable would make since this is an updated version. I had no connection to the internet after I replaced my modem. I had Microsoft issues too. It was a 5 day tech support ordeal. I updated drivers, changed many settings and reset the IP address (Microsoft kept automatically updating each time I rebooted to the previous wrong drivers, settings and IP address!) This new ethernet cord helped make the difference.
