It didn't solve our problem but by process of elimination we were able to figure out a solution. We occasionally use it now though.

Incredible Durability

Purchased two cables, one from modem to router and one from router to pc. What a difference! I had done a speed test before with the original cat5 wire, then with the new cat6. Numbers came up 15-35% on average of three different tests at three different times of day.
