Can't say much more about it. I could have probably been fine with 50'... but too long is better than too short in this application.

Replacement for a cable that was too short

Contractor brought a cable they found online for 1/4 of the price and after laying it out found it did not work as one of the wires inside had snapped. Probably during one of the many untangling events. No problem with this one.

Most newer laptop's don't have the connection end on the laptop for the ethernet end to plug in. You need to get a adaptor to make work. Wish they would mention that on the package.

Best thing I could on my own is get a cable to hook up directly with cable box. This cable did the trick and I was up and running again immediately. I find computer accessories at Best Buy to be of excellent quality.

It had minimal packaging, which is important to me for environmental purposes. The availability of various sizes was excellent and it was easy to find in the store. I was able to hook up my printer to my router via this cable.
