Get the 5e if your internet is below 1000mbps upload speed. Anyways, for this, I connected it to a range extender, and it worked almost as well as connecting the ethernet port directly to the router. Surprising, considering this is in a different room, but a pleasant one.

A customer service rep who was also an avid gamer recommended upgrading my ethernet cables and it has been a solid decision. I still have a few lag issues here and there, but I think that is more due to where the servers are that I am pinging from. Great item! Fairly cheap and a good upgrade overall.

I slowly have been replacing switches, routers, network cards, and cables. This cable was on sale at Best Buy and I needed fifty feet which usually costs a fortune. The ends are well made and the cable did not kink easily. This particular cable connects my new amplifier to my home network and worked perfectly. High speed at a great price. Yeah...
