It connects easily. I used it while traveling this summer as some hotels wifi was poor quality but this cable solves that problem. Recommend it.

Initially I was upset because the male end was covered by a little too much rubber which prevented it from going all the way into the female port on my router. All I had to do was cut some of the rubber off and expose more of the male end so that it would click into place. Overall, it is a great cable that delivers an average of around 800 mb/s to my cpu (I have GB wifi).

This 50 ft ethernet cable enabled us to direct connect our grandson's gaming computer on the 3rd floor to the router on the 2nd floor. Good price. Good speed. Happy grandson gamer.

It serves exactly the purpose intended without compromise. The additional benefit, as pointed out by the Best Buy team, is to get several with the right number of couplers and then you can have a high performance set up anywhere you want. Nice for having an outside office when you want, with secure comms.

Long cable for hardwire use

Have it plugged into my router and snaked it to my desktop and internet speeds all hit what they are supposed to. One star off for material type. Some ethernet cables "unwind" easier so they can be snaked around for better cord managment but this guy likes to ravel back up to how it was packaged. Stretched it out for a day seemed to do the trick.
