We use as a refrigerator, best investment ever!!!!

I am really happy with my purchase,. I went in to purchase a smaller freezer but this caught my eye. I have no regrets.

Great product so far. Using primarily as a beer storage fridge. Glass shelves needed some reinforcement so I used some tension bars but all in all great stuff!

Great fridge, at least I’m using it as a fridge. Easy to setup and keep everything right above freezing. I wish I had measured the dood better because I have it in a bar at my basement and I can’t open the door fully, but so far it’s a great product.

I'm going to stay away from Insignia products. I got this freezer just over a year ago, and it completely stopped working at 15th month - right after the 1-year warranty expired. And the best part? Thanksgiving is next week! I've got a box of snow crab legs and other meat. All of them are ruined when I come home from weekend. When I contacted Best Buy support, they were completely unhelpful and offered no reasonable solution. It feels like a waste of money and trust. I won’t be buying Insignia appliances again.

I bought 2 of them, they both seam to work for the two weeks I have had them. one did not have the feet installed when delivered so a third one is on its way here to replace it. Cheapest garage rated fridge I could find….hope they continue to work

I’m of course very happy with my purchase this was my time buying a used appliance and when it got delivered there were a couple of dents that was not there upon purchase which made a person wonder if that was the one I bought so that’s where I’m at. But I’m still satisfied

This is a great investment. You can use as a refrigerator OR a freezer. I have two for storage. I use one as a refer and I use one as a freezer.

We bought two of these units for our garage so we could have one as a drink fridge and one as a freezer. We love them so much! Delivered and set up within two days of ordering.

Due to covid crisis - I needed a freezer and bought open box item. I was unable to view item since I couldn't go into store but saw a picture and minor scratch on door. No problem since it was going into garage. BB delivered, plugged in and I filled with food. I soon noticed that the door gasket wasn't sealing properly along the top of the door. I was getting frozen water build up in the inside along the top of the cabinet. I put a flashlight into the freezer and closed the door and could see light escape along the top. I contacted Insignia and explained and they sent out a tech to assess. He took some notes and a couple days later was told that insignia is rejecting the claim - no explanation why. They said they could fix it for 999 since it would require new hinges and door. The repair quote was higher than I paid so I can see why insignia might not want to repair - but it does seem like the should just replace. I called insignia to investigate and after 2+ hours of discussing with CSR, they tried to check something and magically, call was disconnected and when I immediately called back, the call center was closed. I called back the following day and was told that because it was open box, I have to deal directly with the store and that the service call was not "coded correctly" and that is why it was rejected. They were saying that service for this item was supposed to be carry in item / exchange. I tried to explain that this is a 17 Cubic foot freezer, over 5 feet tall and a couple hundred pounds. I do not own a pickup truck and there would be no way I could bring into the store for repair. That didn't seem to matter much. They did say that I could return to the store but I explained that it is currently full of food, so unless I have a replacement, I can't return the one I have unless I want to waste all the food that I have stored in it. Home Depot says similar models are on back order until Aug, well after any return date. I understand that the supply chain is affected by the Covid Crisis and a replacement may not be immediately available, but I am willing to wait until the supply chain is restored. I cannot understand why insignia won't stand by their product, especially since it was delivered by BB. I am now stuck with a defective product that has to work harder than designed due to the door gasket leak and will probably break in a year or two. BB was actually my first call for buying the freezer due to my experience with other appliance purchases. I was assured that an open box was cosmetic damage only and any defects would be 100% covered under warranty. So much for standing behind their products.

This freezer was made for our pantry, it fits perfectly and we lose the stainless look. Works perfectly so far, couldn’t be happier!

We LOVE this in our garage. We currently have one as a freezer, and plan to get another for a fridge. No icing, no buildup. Highly recommend!

Love it. I no longer have to bend and twist under a freezer compartment to get to my fridge. It’s all right there my back is so happy.

I bought a Samsung upright for myself and returned it 89 dayes later (to the day thanks Sam's club) because I need something bigger for the same price (Thanks BestBuy)! Best decision ever!

Freezer is great value. Size and price compared to other brands. Good tight door seal and quiet operation. Only complaint is door handle wont stay tight. Have tighten set screws periodically.

I love this so much! We have two of them side by side in the garage. One is a refrigerator and one is a freezer. I like how simple, clean, minimal, and modern they look. The value for the money is fantastic. We are building a home and will definitely use them inside the butler’s pantry because they look so nice!
