Deceptive description

Now I find out that's not true in the northeast and the freezer has no thermostat. Therefore, it doesn't kick on during cold weather and all my frozen foods have to be discarded. When I called for service, I was told everyone in the industry knows a top freezer in a garage here only works 8 months of the year. What an expensive mistake I made needlessly, believing the Best Buy description. The "repair" Geek squad would not be held liable for moving it inside my house, only a few feet away. What am I supposed to do?
