A: Have the same issue, our Insigna new fridge is making many diffrent sounds like "animals screaming". CAN the manufacturer explain why???
A: I am experiencing very hot sides as well. I think because there is no fan moving the heat about the back near the coil. I am starting to notice the ice on bags turns to water very quickly too.
A: I've had my insignia 18 cubic feet freezer refrigerator for about 9 months now and I read in the reviews before I bought it about a noise the refrigerator and was hopefully not going to have the problem with the new one I bought but yesterday I was at my mother's who I bought it for and the refrigerator kicked on and started making this moaning noise so I went in inspected it looked it over and sound like it was coming from the fan in the freezer so I went to the freezer refrigerator setting and turned it down one setting to number two it was on three and when it kicked back on it didn't make the moaning noise and so I turned it back up to number three setting and today all day it ran and didn't make any noises hope this helps anybody out just try, maybe it'll work good luck.
A: Mine is also making a groaning or rumbling noise when the motor is running. I've had the refrigerator nearly a month now and had hoped that the noises would "go away", but they haven't.
Q: can I change the door openings
A: Yes, you can have the door open from either the right side or the left. The installation package comes with the tools necessary to make the change.
Q: Can this be installed in an unheated garage?
A: Not a good idea. It says right in the booklet provided not to use in an area below 50 degrees....
A: It's pretty quiet. No issues with it being loud.
Q: Where can I find a replacement door rack shelf for the insignia refrigerator
A: I stopped by your store and was told by the salesperson that I had to. contact Insignia in order to replace some plastic shelves on the refrigerator I purchased from you in May of 2017. Model NS RTM18SS7. Please help. The Insignia website is very confusing.
