No customer service. Light went out. My last fridge was around for 24 years and I have never had to replace a light bulb. After searching around many places for a bulb the correct size but unable to find one, I finally contacted Best Buy. They gave me “customer service” but because of warranty being up they were happy to replace it. Bulb was $50 plus $8.99 shipping. I have a very dark fridge and get angry every time I open it! Get a reputable brand that stands behind their products. Best Buy doesn’t.

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After having this fridge for only a short time, this fridge is frosting up on the inside badly, and in the side of the fridge itself is not even cooling properly. The cost to try and get it repaired is probably about equal to getting a whole new fridge, and didn't get the warranty because who thinks that a fridge is going to die in a year and half to 2 years when they should last a long time. I will never buy another Insignia brand fridge again.

Can't get replacement parts

Build quality is good, given its a best buy brand, I also purchased the extended warranty due to the more extreme operating conditions in the garage. Plenty of space in the freezer as well.

After very light usage of less than two years, it stopped working. Suddenly, the front panel lights started blinking and it looks like light number 3 is blinking. Which seems like failure of some type of sensor. I will never buy Insignia product again! I have a whirlpool refrigerator that we have been using for last 10 years.

I had to return it because one night I found the side of it was very hot. It felt like your oven side when you set it at 450. When the men came out to pick it up, they said I was not the only one who has had this problem. The overall rating does not deserve even a one star. I only had this product less than a week.

Hate this frig

The only reason we bought it was because it was the cheapest. I hate the no handles. It has 1/3 amount of space my old one had. It has no cheese drawer. If I had realized how different the door shelves were from my old one I would never had bought this one. Live and learn I guess. The top seal on the corner of frig door separates from the door.

Won't Freeze Ice Cream!

An Insignia rep actually told me after checking with whoever it is one goes to for made-up answers that "Depending on the ice cream's ingredients, some ice creams won't freeze." What? Stay away from Hagendaz and Culver's and Trader Joe's then, unless you want syrup in your freezer. Happy ending, however. Best Buy is replacing the Insignia with a Samsung this Thursday. Fingers crossed!
