Good value for the price. One problem so far: the black side panels sometimes get very warm, possibly from the stove or electric kettle. This may be the cause of the freezer going into "overdrive" and producing a louder sound.

The fridge is good. The service was outstanding! From the online order platform, to the online sales associate that answered questions and helped me place the order and finally quick and friendly delivery that I packaged the fridge and took the cardboard with them! Overall just a wonderful experience.

This refrigerator fit our needs perfectly. We did not notice any loud noise coming from the motor as mentioned in other reviews. Everything works as it should. The freezer freezes and the refrigerator keeps everything cold. It is perfect for the price.

I bought this refrigerator for my daughter’s house, it was almost perfect for the area where the previous refrigerator was. The only issue that I had was the light did not work. This was an open-box purchase, so it was to be expected. Good thing I purchased the warranty.

We needed a simple, easy to use, easy to clean unit for our church kitchen. There is no temptation for button pushers to readjust and freeze the tomatoes or have ice cream running on the floor. The cost was well within our budget also.

Size perfect, no pull handles, good storage space.

It’s a really great value for the money, and offers great performance and amazingly low energy costs. Similar to other reviewers, it does make a noise when venting air, definitely sounds like Chewbacca. I would buy this again.

I am a Landlord. When a refrigerator fails I put in my $100 spare, when that fails, I buy new. This was the only 18 CU FT in town for $500. A review like this is better after 10 years to see if it still works, but then they may not make it so... Google says Insignia is the Best Buy Name made buy one of the few major appliances makers left.

Great amount of space for smaller fridge. Also, easy to clean.

The size and price is good for our second refrigerator that sits in the garage.

Needed a second fridge and this fit the bill. Only issue is that the gaskets are stiff and when when you close one door, the other pops open. We put a child safety lock on the freezer and leveled it so the fridge tips back a bit. Hopefully that will help.

I've had my fridge for 2 years now and I love it! Delivery was great. Still looks and perform like new.

Do I like this fridge? For the most part, yes. Would I buy it again knowing what I know now? No! We bought this fridge because it was the only one we found which would fit our space, and had most of what we wanted. I didn't read the reviews first. If I had, I would have kept looking. This fridge DOES make the noise that many write about!! It's kind of a low, sad little moan. Since we have no choice but to keep it, I prefer to find this moaning somewhat amusing. It's not a bad noise. Just weird. My biggest concern is that it will become more frequent and/or louder over time. Seriously, folks, when a lot of reviewers have the SAME complaint, do yourself a favor and heed the warning!
