Unfortunately, the lid stopped working within a month. Best Buy advised me to bring it in for repair, but with a busy schedule, I never got the chance. Now I’m stuck with a trash can whose lid refuses to open properly. For the price, I expected much better durability.

I removed the split compartment detail so bulky things like milk containers. Pop in. Fly season is here and no stink or annoying varmits.

I only suggest that you buy re chargeable batteries. They last several weeks. Then just re charge. Otherwise these are great. So great I have 2.

Its sensor is super slow so if you have something dripping or awkward to hold onto the lid never opens before the stuff has slipped or slopped out. Waste of money. I now just leave the top open all the time.
