This crapped out in less than two months it literally stopped working two days after the return period ended. To change the trashbags you have to take off the whole lid most trashcans you just lift the lid back.

It is cheaply made and the inside divided in half where you cannot put in full size trash bags easily without them falling in. It was a complete waste of money and if I could return it I would. Avoid at all costs no matter how cheap it may be discounted.

Terrible design

The can has a divider in the middle for trash and recyclables. That's a nice feature, but it makes for a tiny space for each side and you'll be going through a ton of trash bags. Also, the way the bags are "installed" is cumbersome and hang out the sides after the lid is put back on. It looks horrible and I don't see myself having to adjust the bag every time I change the trash and have to tuck things neatly away.

The can was dented because there is zero cardboard or styrofoam protecting against shipping damage. Also this thing uses D batteries. What? I haven't used D batteries in 20 years. Waited twenty minutes in line for that one cashier that is doing new checkouts and returns. Worst buy. So not happy.
