Broken within 3 months

Ive changed the batteries multiple times but the top will not open. The sensor is still functional but the lid cannot lift more than 1/4 of the way when it is fully powered and after a few days the batteries die and it can no longer partially open. The top was never dropped or cleaned (they warn you about washing the lid because of potential water damage). I have two smaller versions of this trash can and have not had any issues but for some reason the most expensive version was far less durable. Unfortunately its outside of the return window so im stuck with it.

GARBAGE

The trash can is super small and we felt ike we were waisting trash bags. The bags wouldn't stay on so they would fall down and get trash all inside the can. The automatic lid went through batteries like crazy and eventually broke, would not recommend it AT ALL!

Changing out the garbage bags is a little annoying. They seem to get stuck in there tight as you fill it up and if you are not careful, the bag rips (even the stronger flex bags).

I got it on sale for half price so keep your eyes out every few months it goes on sale. compare to other online websites this is better. they have similar price but no auto sensor that pops the lid you have to use your feet.
