The addition immediately boosted the quality of the audio. I recommend using the optical connection over the RCA connection which did not work well for me.

I haven't actually hooked it up to the TV yet. I’ve only used the Bluetooth feature for music. It actually has a decent sound but it is muffled.

I decided not to return it, however I will be purchasing a better one for the family room.

The only caveat is that you have to manually turn it on every time you want to use it. It doesn't automatically come out of standby mode.

Have a 55 inch and sounds great. Cant go wrong for a inexpensive sound bar,when ya get it at the sale price.
