Q: Will this soundbar turn on and off automatically with the remote from my directv
A: It will not turn off automatically. I just purchased this and am returning it because I cannot program my vizio TV to control the soundbar. You have to use the remote that it comes with which is not very convenient
A: For Fire TV's: mine blinked green as well. Audio output needs to be changed to "PCM." The option frustratingly does not show up under "Sound" once you press the Gear/Settings physical button. So you'll need to go to -> Home Screen -> Settings -> Display & Sounds -> Audio Output -> set Digital Audio Format to "PCM."
Q: Will it work on a samsung tv

Q: This will work w/ an old fashioned tv? It does have an audio outlet, so I'm guessin it'll work...
A: As long as you have A/V ports (White, Red, Yellow) it will work.
Q: What cable do I need to plug this into my Tv.? I have a dish box connected to it also, thank you
