Remote doesn't work from a distance

The problem I have is getting it turned on. I returned the 1st one BC I thought it was detected. I'm having the same problem w/ the new one. Even if I press power directly on the unit it comes on when it wants to. It's also hard to tell what volume or sound its on BC there's No direct notification you just have to press until your finger gets numb. Once you get it on the sound is Great, Turning it on is the hard part. It also has very easy setup & cables needed are included.

Great speaker for a great price!

For the price though, it compliments nicely with the newer era or ultra thin TV's that have bad sound due to their thinness. If you're looking for just a nice boost and cleaner sound for a thin flat panel, this is a well priced sound bar.
