But we didn't need a big system -- just something better and this soundbar absolutely fits the bill. Icing on the cake was how easy it connects to our laptops for music with sound so, SO much better than the laptop speakers!

This soundbar certainly won't beat other soundbars in a higher price caliber, but I think for the price it's hard to find anything better. It has all of the outputs you would need, plus it has Bluetooth for playing music from your mobile devices too! If you can get this on sale, I think it's a no-brainer, but you can't go wrong even at full price, because it's cheap enough as it is. I even bought a second one this Christmas for my Dad! Highly recommend this soundbar as a good budget option.

But the downside is that its hard program like it says on the instructions to program the remote going to the tv. And it sometimes loses connection to the tv eventhought it is hardwired.

Good value for a low price. Was pretty easy to set up. We've had for about 10 months and it sometimes requires reset via unplug of HDMI.

I first bought a $10 sound bar from JC Penny's that was on sale. It was wireless, and my TV was not wireless, so $10 lost. Took a chance on this one because it included an optical wire. Works great! Had problems with the remote, because I was pressing it too hard. I was turning it on and off at the same time. Just a lite press to turn it on, and a lite press to increase or decrease the volume. Using this in my master bedroom, so it works well there.

The sound is clear and distinct and the volume is easy to control. Super easy to set up; easy breezy! Bonus: it was $30 off!
