Bought this for my bedroom tv because the speakers on the TCL 40 inch tv I bought were the absolute worst I've ever heard. I had an AM radio when I was a kid that sounded better. The Insignia gives you full, rich deep tones and makes the dialogue alot easier to understand. The built in bass simulation was so good I didn't miss a subwoofer at all.

My Insignia Speaker

I was a little hesitant at first because I wasn't sure if it would provide the richness of the sound I wanted without an additional woofer, I use this in my bedroom so I don't need a huge sound and this matches up well with my Samsung tv. It was an easy setup and the price was good. I tuned into youtube country music to check the volume and clarity of my speaker just before I started to write this review. Bottom line: I am very pleased with this purchase.

Took no more then 15 minutes to complete though I didn't have it wall mounted. It sounds great too. Bought it refurbished and saved a few dollars, yet it came in like new.

Use this in my bedroom and the sound is great. Easy set up. I have it connected to HDMI, optical, and Bluetooth, but get the best sound from HDMI.

I also like how easily it connects to my tv (also an Insignia product) via Bluetooth. I hesitated for the longest time about whether it would be worth it to get a soundbar in the first place, but obviously I decided to get one after all-- no regrets!

This is a standard product which performs the duties it says it does. Nothing special, but nothing bad to say. There is a noticeable difference to me, but I pick up on sound quality better than the average Joe. That said, if you have really poor audio on your TV, this is probably a step up, but nothing you couldn't live without.
