Awesome sound using optical cable, even better using ARC w/HDMI!!! Got this on a "deal of the day" for under $40. Did not expect too much, but pleasantly surprised! Bass is decent and speaker is clear and crisp. I own Bose, well this is not Bose, but it is moving that way!!!

Best connection (for me) was HMDI to HDMI ARC on TV. That way, only the tv remote was needed for on/off and volume for both tv and soundbar.

Definitely gives the right amount of volume bump my television needed. The instructions was easy enough to follow and when I'm ready to upgrade my viewing set up, I will be looking at this brand again.

I'm impressed with the quality especially compared to the price. If you want a premium sound experience for a hone theater I'd look elsewhere but for bedrooms it's perfect.
