After upgrading my laptop the sound volume was afected. The only sound was a low whispering. I am on a low budget and was looking for some economic speakers. Boy what a deal I found, not only were they low priced they deliver an incredible sound and it was easy to install. I never thought I would fix my problem so easily.Thanks Best Buy.

We are extremely happy with our purchase of the Insignia - 2.0 Stereo Computer Speaker System. It was just what we were looking for to enhance our Computer experience at home without being too much plus the price was more then exceptable.

I was trying to finish setup for a friend's first computer when I realized he forgot to get sound equipment. I was short on time and so was happy to find the Insignia™ - 2.0 Stereo Computer Speaker System on the first try. It has good sound and was within my budget!

Great audio for a even better price. I bought these for work and they work wonderful. They are plug and play. They also have a audio jack built within one speaker so you can use headphones. Very happy with them

Tablet computers are good for students. They can use in the class rooms and even in the coffee shops. Good job for everything.

Basic ol cheap speakers, but they do get the job done. I mean for the price I can't complain. Sometimes the sound echo's and sometimes it sounds just plain horrible, but 75% of the time the sound is decent.

I got these speakers when I got my monitor. But the chord is shorted in the speakers and you have to play with it to get the speakers to work. Inconvenient but that's what I get for not taking it back (I misplaced the receipt)

I bought these speakers to go with my brand new HP Envy computer. They are great. Their small size and slim line allow me to place them right on my desk without taking too much room. They are also sophisticated and attractive in appearance. The sound is amazing. Great quality of sound and volume. The price was very low, so it is a great value for these speakers. I highly recommend them.

I bought these speakers today only because I needed something that takes up less space than the current 5.1 speaker set up I was using. I primarily use my headset for sound, but its nice to not have to wear that all the time while listening to music. I decided to go the cheap route and find something that looked nice on the desk. For $20, I don't think you can beat the sound. People need to remember with speakers, you get exactly what you pay for. That being said at $20 I was quite impressed with the sound these speakers produced. I hear no hum which was mentioned in another review. As far as thumping bass, these are lacking, obviously. But these speakers do play very low midrange nicely. All in all I am very impressed by this purchase, and if you are looking for a set of speakers for under $20, I would pick these up.

I play a lot of music from my Laptop CD library and these speakers up the sound quality a lot. Connecting and disconnecting is quick and simple so I can pick up and go with the laptop. They take up very little space on my desk and still provide more than adequate volume for my office space. Good quality at a good price.

The speakers include a 1/8" stereo jack attached already, so no need to purchase one separately. includes wall adapter so they will never run out of power as long as you have access to a wall socket, Sound is very good to my ears. Includes a volume control - the only thing i can think of that I would like better is the front speaker area of the speakers seems to only be covered by a mesh of foam, and no other harder grill material to protect the speaker components, . - overall they are fantastic

These were marked down to $10 when I bought them. I was absolutely blown away by the quality for the price. I could easily imagine paying between $50 and $100 for speakers with this sound quality. Some have mentioned the lack of bass; this is true, there isn't much bass to speak of, but it isn't all that important to me. These aren't really designed for serious use. I do some light gaming, voice chatting, and occasionally listen to music (classical, which doesn't require a whole lot of bass). For my all-around purposes these speakers are perfect. Surprisingly clear, and experience little to no loss at higher volumes.

I'm very happy with these Insignia computer speakers. Voices are clear and the speakers have an overall pleasant sound. I use them mostly for listening to funny videos and movie trailers. The speakers provide plenty of volume and at normal listening I have not noticed any distortion or hum. They are satisfactory for music but don't expect much bass. For the price they are great. The blue power light looks good and matches the rest of the lights on my computer. These speakers are definitely worth the price for general computer use.

I used these speakers for my desktop. The sound is great and when I watch movies on my computer the sound is very clear. These speakers are compact enough so they don't take up much room on my desk. The price is practice and will fit anyone's budget. They would be great for college students.

These speakers produce good quality 2.0 sound for everyday use. I find the front location of the power and volume controls along with the earphone jack to be very convenient. The compact size is a plus and the price is another.

I needed something small, inexpensive but reliable for my office computer, so I could listen to music to get me through the work day. It doesn't make my ears bleed when I have my headphones in, but it has more than enough power when I am using them on their own. They were plug-and-play right out of the box. Exactly what I needed.

Bought 3 months ago to replace my Bose. It has the clear and solid sound except lack of Bass. It is great for gaming, but it is OK for Music. For desktop speaker ~$10, it is a great deal.

They're speakers. You plug them in an sound comes out. There's not much more to say about them. My hearing's not good enough to get specific about the sound quality, but they're inexpensive and have a narrow footprint with front mounted controls. There is a downside worth mentioning. The blue LED to indicate the power is on can probably be seen from space. I've got three layers of masking tape over it and can still use it as a nightlight in a small room. If these things are on, and in your field of vision, that light is about all you can see. Get some electrical tape, or masking tape and a black magic marker.

Purchased because I wanted speakers small enough to fit on my desk. Because they were inexpensive I was surprised that the quality is so good. An excellent value!

I needed computer speakers and didn't want to spend a lot. I didn't know I'd get such a good deal Not good at reviews but all you really need to know is. Great sound,Great price and nice size plus nice look.
