If your looking for the most basic pc speakers these will do the job,however if your going to listen to music then look for better quality speakers. They have a muffled quality with poor highs and almost no base.There are much better speakers for not too much more.

I recently bought the Insignia 19" TV for my kitchen and I'm happy with it other than the sound being a little lacking, as stated in my review of that item. I bought these speakers because they are basic and I figured that they'd be an improvement. These are very basic speakers, no bass or treble adjustments so you'll need to use your computer to make adjustments if you use them as computer speakers. I dislike the blue LED on the front of the right speaker, why can't manufacturers put these on the back of items that are going to be in your field of vision? A black marker and a small piece of electrical tape solved this problem. Sound is ok but lacking both bass and treble. For my use as TV speakers this is fine as I listen to the news in my kitchen on this TV and voices are mostly midrange, so they sound fine; however, if you plan on using these for music you'd probably be happier with a 2.1 system with a subwoofer. I could not locate a power rating for these speakers either in the box or on the manual, I'm guessing 10W max but probably a little less. Overall I am happy with these speakers as TV speakers.

These speakers will do the job if there is nothing that you absolutely need to hear in a sound byte or during a skype session. Not recommended for anything that requires a professional sound or audio analysis.

I'm rather disappointed with my purchase. I was expecting so much more from these speakers. I had purchased some in the past and the sound was great. I thought these would be just as good but I'm sorry to say I was very wrong. I will be returning these speakers.

I was surprised because this is my first purchase from Best Buy that I'm not happy with. It's pretty easy to put decent bass into small speakers and this sounds like a tape recorder playing inside of a Campbell's Soup can. I'm returning them pronto!

Good product, I have no complaints. My boyfriend on the other hand said he likes then but wants me to purchase alternative speaks because he said he can't hear the base in his music. I think it's a very good purchase for the price and I'm very happy with my purchase.

About what I expected in a $20 pair of speakers. Sound quality isn't great, but I bought them to hook up to a cheap TV that had even worse sound and they do the trick.

I wanted an inexpensive set of powered computer speakers to at least fill a small room with sound, These can barely even play louder than the integrated speakers.
