I find the sound is rather tinny and not very clear. I was disappointed.

These speakers were bought cause old speakers gave out...they are great speakers but the sound quality could be better..I agree with others that have posted here that the Bass quality could be better, but other than that they are serving my purpose for the time being...Will probably upgrade to better ones at a later time.

They're ok. They are serviceable speakers for any computer.

The speakers are ok if you are looking for something to watch short videos on you tube, of just have some sound on your computer. They sound terrible when listening to music. If you are looking for great sound quality, you may want to spend a little more. If you just want something cheap to add a little sound to your laptop then these are ok.

Bought these for my son to use with his Roland keyboard. They work wonderfully. Excellent sound for what we need them for. If you are looking to jam an MP3 player or CD player then these are not for you. If you want clear, crisp sound at a reasonable level, then you can't beat these speakers for the money.

my previous speakers had two smaller speakers and one large speaker. the large one had to sit on the floor and was always getting kicked and the connection wire did not fit tight and was often coming loose - these speakers have no third speaker and that is terrific!!

Would purchase again if needed. I like the size and quality of sound

You will not be disappointed with these unless you expect THX certified quality out of them. They work great, with only slight distortion nearing max volume with a lot of bass ... otherwise, it does what you'd expect it to do.

I like these speakers, but ive noticed there is one thing 'wrong' with them - when the speakers are on and the volume knob is turned all the way to the left - I can still hear music very lightly?

you want simple computer speakers to use for less than $20? logitech has a very similar pair but I find these to be better built and the power cable you can disconnect helps quite a lot.

These work fine for what I wanted: More volume than my laptop speaker with a volume control on the speaker. These are not for playing music where you really care about hearing all the nuances and ranges, but they're fine for Pandora, newscasts, downloadable audiobooks, etc. And, unlike my other speakers, they have their own volume control. So, for the price, they work for me

What can I say, they are plain old basic speakers. There are nothing really special about them but I feel that they still have a decent sound to them.

These are for my desktop computer. Mine were shot. These are perfect for replacement. I am older and don't need the BIG sound speakers. Good price and fast shipping from best buy.
