You will have to turn the bass all the way up to notice it at all. Recommend connecting through Optical (Not Incl.) Remote is finicky. Results in having to press buttons multiple times. I received the unit for $60.00 and that is the most you should pay for this unit.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After the optical port got ripped out of my LG sound bar from my cat knocking it over somehow we needed a new one but didn’t want to drop $200+ that moment so we opted for this guy. While it’s easy to use and pairs instantly with the Bluetooth subwoofer, the only adjustments you can make to the bass is choosing 1 of the 3 sound settings (standard, theater, and news) which all sound meh. A lot of bass that drowns out the dialogue ended with us having to keep the subwoofer off for most movies. Hindsight I would spend the extra money and get a more well rounded option.

I am not one on bass and a big surround sound for my television so I prefer the sound for a sound bar. Having the bluetooth option is a great bonus.

She couldn't be happier. This provides the sound she needs, plus a little more. The setup and operation were easy for her to learn.
