Q: Can this connect to a Toshiba TV? And does it have a good base?
A: The soundbar itself isn't wireless. Any tv will connect to it with rca style audio cables (red and white) which are included, or and optical audio cable which is not but will provide better sound quality. The subwoofer pairs the the soundbar wirelessly via Bluetooth, and you can also play music to the system with a Bluetooth device like a smartphone. Hope this helps!
A: There are five different settings for sound quality on the remote control: 1. Source. I don't know what this does, so I only tried it once. 2. Bass. This seems to enhance the lower frequencies. 3. Standard. Could be the same as source, as far as I can tell. 4. Theater. Makes everything sound better. Enhances the total experience when watching movies or TV. 5. News. Seems to cut down on the lower frequencies and enhance the upper register. Perfect for listening to voices or podcasts or books on CD.
Q: Soundbar and subwoofer are on and connected but the subwoofer is not working
A: Move the subwoofer closer to the soundbar. To adjust the volume on the Subwoofer press the Bass button on the remote, then press the volume buttons on the remote to adjust the subwoofer volume and press the Bass button again when finished.
A: I had the same issue... turn every electronic device you have off. I put the bar onthe counter in my kitchen plugged in not near the tv and then paired it... then had to rehook everything up with my tv... only way I could get it to pair
A: If your TV has a Digital Optical Audio Output, 3.5mm headphone jack or RCA (Red/White) audio output, it should work.
Q: does the soundbar system turn on and off with the tv or do you need to power up & down separately?
A: no you have to use both remotes. Works good through. Just wish it had a volume indicator
Q: Do you have to have Bluetooth to use this soundbar with your TV?
A: You do not need Bluetooth to use this Soundbar.
A: Press the Bass button on the remote, then press the volume buttons on the remote to adjust the subwoofer volume and press the Bass button again when finished.
