This is a great sound bar for ppl wanting to stay within a budget but also have a subwoofer & both analog (RCA/phono-type inputs) & digital inputs (TOSLINK/optical). Of course, Bluetooth is also an option & the remote play/pause, last track, next track buttons will control at least My a IPhone & I’d assume also an Android phone as well. There is a USB input to play .wav files using just the included remote & speaker bar for music. These things said, there is no separate treble control, & you have 3 choices for EQ: Standard, News, & Theater. Bass IS adjustable & is definitely there but it’s not gonna blow the roof off your living room or anything. While the bass does have its own up/down control for level, I am left wishing the treble did as well. But overall, as it was $70 off for Christmas (we paid $79), I’m satisfied it was well worth it. Especially considering the difference in price between this 1 & the others that would’ve been a step up.

I love this product. It was very easy to set up and use. I love that it has a remote so that you can adjust the volume, bass, source, and other controls from anywhere without having to go to the actual sound bar to adjust those controls. It was also very easy to connect to my tv which only took minutes thanks to the provided cables. And while I’m talking about my tv, I have to mention that after I added the sound bar and subwoofer to it, I was amazed. It was like being in a theater. I was hearing sounds that I would’ve never heard with just my tv alone. And the best part about the 2.1 Insignia Sound Bar is its sound quality and volume output. It provides a very clean and rich sound that makes you lose yourself whether you’re listening to music, or watching a movie. This sound bar and subwoofer can get incredibly loud and I am so happy with this product. My music sounds great and I would totally recommend this product to anybody.

It's a great system. It's easy to install and worked great with my older LG plasma. I purchased an optical cable (wish they would include one like my other bar did) and it's night and day compared with the built-in TV speakers. I purchased to watch WW84 at home. Almost as much as going to the movies, safer (No risk of COVID) and now I get to use it all the time. My phone and iPad connected easily via Bluetooth as well. Fits well with TV in our living room.

Purchased mainly for streaming music from mobile devices with Bluetooth being other speakers for that are over priced. Turns out it is still being used with our main tv as we were all happy with the improvement it made. The sub will not rock the house as it is only 25 watts so don't compare this to your 1000 watt 12" mega systems.

It's a great system and paired the Subwoofer without me doing anything. If you want to increase or decrease the volume just tap the + or - button don't hold it in. Same goes for the Subwoofer. A lot of people claimed they couldn't hear the subwoofer all the time or it was distorted. Subwoofers aren't meant to be heard all the time and they are meant to sound a little distorted. A subwoofer is like a special effect in a movie sort of like the echo of an explosion or gunfire or the beat of a base drum. You only hear it when it gets a signal from the soundbar. You just have to play with the volume to get it to where you like it. I have mine on the opposite wall of the soundbar between my couch and recliner 12' away and I get a great signal to the subwoofer. When the wife yells from the kitchen 30' away "Turn it down" then you know it's a good sound system. My only complaint is that the power cord for the subwoofer could be longer.

I decided to upgrade from a 32" TV to a 40" TV in my bedroom and since TV speakers always suck I needed a new sound bar as well because the one i had did not have a sub woofer and the sub woofer makes the sound bar set up sound more like surround sound rather than just another Bluetooth speaker. I saw this one on sale and it was the same brand as the new TV that I decided on. They were very easy to hook up together. You can use the cord that comes with the speaker to hook up thru your TV headphones port or you can purchase Insignia™ - 6' Digital Optical Audio Cable and hook up thru that port...I think so TVs have that port now and it has a cleaner sound with the optical for sure. Def can't go wrong with this sound bar.

I stand by Insignia since I bought $20 speakers with a subwoofer for my PC. I just installed this Soundbar w. Subwoofer and I am more than happy. Not only is the sale a steal but it’s a nice touch decoratively also. Recommend for any theater set up. I would give 5 stars if I had it for at least a year or so to fully test longevity.

I’m using this as a computer speaker sitting above a 32” monitor. Since I’m very close to the sound bar it has plenty of power (volume). The bass is “ok”. It does make the desk “bump” slightly. Sounds WAAYYY better then the computer speakers I had, and for the price point (on sale) you probably won’t get computer speakers that sound as good as this. I mounted the subwoofer to the underside of the desk, made easy by only needing a power cable. My only complaint is that the auto power off can’t be disabled (I skimmed through the manual). If it could be turned off then I could use the analog output of my computer which allows for EQ adjustments. But since there is no auto on, then that means I have to turn it on every time. However, if you use digital input, so long as the digital input is active, the sound bar will stay on. Which means it’s always in since my computer never sleeps. But the downside is I can not adjust the sound globally on the computer for SPDIF output. So I just use EQ in iTunes to turn up the bass. For half the price of most sound bars, it’s a decent value. But if you are looking for bass, you will want to look at a product with a more substantial subwoofer.

For the price of this sound bar I am blown away. The sound and bass is spot on. No need to buy a 400 dollar unless you just want more watts but this thing can easily be heard all the way throughout my home.

I love the product. It’s as I expect and more. I would purchase the product again. We have insignia tv so the volume on it wasn’t as we would like but with this product it’s just a duo, you can’t purchase one without the other. If you are aiming on purchasing this brand tv, and the price on both is perfect. The experience of watching tv has been a lot better with this product. It’s truly a theater experience!

I bought this and a 43 inch Toshiba 4K tv at the same time because I caught both on sale.I wanted something for my office and a little extra kick in the sound department. This sound bar and subwoofer do a great job. This isn’t a high end system but the sound quality and setting are very good.It is plenty loud for what most people are likely looking for.It sounds excellent in my office.I am confident this setup will sound great most anywhere.I highly recommend this!

Will make your television audio clearer. 3 different sound enhancement modes with volume for Bass also, which makes it good for listening to music. 80W is more than ample for a apartment. Very solid subwoofer. Most people don't really need systems higher than 100W.

Great product! Works perfectly & works as described. Has a great sound, the sub made the sound bar even better. It’s a great combo package. Perfect for movie nights or Sunday deep cleaning music. Only down fall is that when you turn the volume up or down it is not displayed anywhere so you are unable to know how high or low the volume is. If you don’t mind that it lacks the display of the volume then it’s a great buy at a reasonable price.

Extremely loud. Only thing I’m not happy about is to power on you need to be extremely near the devise. My other controls reach electronics to power on, volume change settings. With this control you need to practically be 1-2 ft away for it to function properly. But I can’t complain too much because I for this for about $60

Just bought it to replace a 5.1 RCA system. Takes about 10 minutes tops to setup. Great sound, better than my old 250 watt RCA. I think I'm going to gwt one for the living room. Oh, the blue tooth option is great for your Spotify or Apple music. I use Spotify with my Xbox and Playstaton and the sound comes through great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND as a new or replacement product. I set it up in my family room just 15' x 15', open dooraay and pass through window to the kitchen, but still sound great.
After owning for one month I am adding my review. I am using this on my pc. I have a set of Bose pc speakers and thought my pc sounded great. I adding this sound bar with the subwoofer is a game changer. I now have much cleaner sound. My wife has ask me to turn down the sub at night b/c it would keep her awake. Great buy for the price. For better sound and about $50 less than the Bose.

Bought this for $60 for Black Friday, it was definitely worth it. The sound from the sound bar is not premium level (like $200+ speakers/soundbars), but is very very acceptable for the price. The bass is good and vibrates my couch/floor, and listening to music is very enjoyable. Keep in mind that the source of your sound makes a big difference, so old youtube videos from 15 years ago and old DVDS don't sound very good, but new videos and blu-rays sound amazing, so you can't always blame it on the speakers. For less than $100 this is a steal, the bass rumbles (as long as the source material is good), and makes movies seem more like a theatre. It's 100 times better than my tv speakers (which is why I bought it), and it has a 1 year automatic warranty from Insignia so if anything goes wrong in that time they'll fix it. I haven't had any issues with the remote like other people have, it's worked every time I push a button, if there's an issue you could return it. Would definitely recommend

Purchased an open box item, so far is good. It improves the sound of a guess room tv. Good quality of sound and options to choose from. The subwoofer is a plus for a great bass when watching movies.
