I needed a soundbar to improve the sound of my TV which was horrible because the speakers faced the rear and the sound was always muddy. I hope for some improvement in sound and was pleasantly surprised at how good and clear the sound was from this bar. Don't expect much from the subwoofer but it does add frequencies that could not be heard before. Just don't expect it to rattle the windows. All in all, I would reccomend this Soundbar to anyone that doesn't need to rattle the windows but is just looking for nice clean sound.

I got this on sale for $80 around a year ago now and I am not at all disappointed with this one. It’s pretty reliable and hasn’t messed up at all in sound quality. Super easy to set up with Bluetooth if I use my phone on it for cleaning and the optical audio to the tv sounds great. I know there are better options out there of course if you’re looking to drop some money but for the price I got it for this is by far the best bang for my buck I’ve gotten in terms of audio

Good average sound and deep bass from the subwoofer. Just wish it had a way to turn off the Bluetooth if not pairing with anything. I live in an apartment complex so it worries me that anyone could mess with me and play something through my speakers. I just found a work-around with using a Rocketfish power saving (auto-shutoff) surge protector that sees when my TV is powered off it shuts the sound bar off.

I purchased this item for our master bedroom and to be honest I was a little unsure of what the quality of it would be. However, I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. Not only is the sound excellent, set up was easy and it looks sleek. Also, the price is definitely worth it.

I love the audio quality and loudness on this soundbar! The subwoofer really adds to the show or movie or even song, providing enough bass to give it some depth without out rumbling the entire soundtrack. Be mindful of where you place your subwoofer, though. Ours is behind the sofa for visual and immersive purposes, and sometimes the wireless sub cuts out. It gets a bit annoying, but I'm sure it's an easy fix. I enjoy this product for the price and quality.

Soundbar does get pretty loud and has decent bass, no controls for treble or bass other then the preinstalled EQ settings. Was purchased for a spare room in my house and for the price you really cant complain.

Good value for the price. I bought an Open box item. Not happy because it was missing the audio adapter and the remote. Fortunately I had spare cables. I use it in a small room and, after setting the volume with the bar, I can control the volume from the tv (connected with RCA cable) or phone (bluetooth), so I don't miss the remote. Good bass. Good volume.

Super easy to hang on the wall. You need to get an optical cable if you want quality sound and the lips to always synch with the words when watching tv.

This is a decent speaker combo and a great value when it is on sale. It is easy enough to connect to your tv via Bluetooth (if it’s a smart tv or connected to a streaming device such as FireTv) or via red & white audio cable or optical cable (must be purchased separately). The sound bar delivers crisp sound and the wireless subwoofer delivers on the bass, and when strategically placed, provides a nice surround experience.

I purchased this item as well as a TV to go with it as a gift to upgrade my sons entertainment space in his room. The quality and setup on this unit was absolutely great and easy to setup. It has enough bass to seem movie theater quality in a small space ( like a bedroom) and not so loud to where its diruptive to the rest of the home. Overall he loves his new setup, and i love the quality and price point.

Honestly got this on a open box type deal, wasnt expecting much, so, with that said, very solid basic soundbar/bass type set up, not fancy, you need to be able to figure out whether your TV is controlling volume or not on your own, good solid sound, not audiphile quality but thats not who is buying this, the bass is solid and fills the room up, it does NOT simulate surround, its more stereo, but still sounds good.

Has pretty good base. Overall sound is really good. Has normal, theater, and news preset sounds which you can easily switch between. For the price really can't beat it. I bought another one for a Christmas gift after we tried it out. Would definitely purchase again.

I purchase this unit for my bedroom television which is also an Insignia product. I didn't need much in the way of additional sound so when I look at some of the other reviews I can honestly say that for a bedroom it seems to be ideal. It actually stayed in my hallway for over a week because I thought that the setup would be more challenging that it was. But when I actually pulled it out it was pretty much a Flawless set up and then I just called Comcast to help me pair it. I didn't set up the subwoofer for probably another three or four days because it needed is on Outlet. So I ordered a heavy duty one from Amazon and just close everything into that. Then pairing it with the soundbar was a piece of cake. So in the final analysis I give this system a thumbs up! Very reasonably, quality sound and, super easy to set up.

For the price, pretty solid sound. It's not audiophile grade by any means, but it is great for a secondary TV, bedroom setup or for a covered porch.
