Perhaps 1-2 seconsa but that can grow to be annoying quickly. I’d assume that this wasnt tested long enough to notice before putting back on the shelf as an open box. The system itself is great. I would be getting a 5 star review once I return this one and purchase one not Open Box.

My old soundbar and subwoofer still worked great and I just wanted another one for another TV. But this new model is significantly lower quality as compared to the old one. The bass is very distorted and no longer hits all the low range frequencies. When put at anything over 50% volume, the sub sounds like it is going to pop. Best Buy must have used a different amplifier or crossover because the sound quality just isn't there anymore. Also some annoying things: 1) the sound bar pictured has an HDMI arc connection, but the actual soundbar in the box does not. It only has optical, RCA, and bluetooth. 2) the LED stays on constantly. The old version did not show a light when it was in use; only a red light when powered off. If you are watching a movie in a dark room, this LED can be distracting. 3) Subwoofer is now side firing rather than downward firing. I prefer the sub to shake the ground and not the wall it is set up next too. This also causes it to move more since the air pushes out the side rather than below. Overall, I don't recommend this. Even if you get on sale at $60, I would still look at another model.

Even with it at the max bass setting, it seems to make no difference if it is on or off. But hey it was pretty cheap and the main speakers work fine. I have to push the power button twice (every time) to get it to turn on, and i had to adjust the lip-synch on my TV to get it to match the timing on my TV. Had i known all of this in advance, i probably would not have bought it.
