Went cheap thinking it would be okay for a tv bit used often but do yourself a favor and spend another $50 or $100 for a little better system. Didn’t sound much better than the tv.

It doesn't. Need to keep the small remote with the tv remote to turn on separately. Sounds muffled till you get use to it. Only heard the subwoofer once. Maybe I'm not paying attention to it? This is better than the tv speakers which you can barely hear.
