Satisfactory Sound Bar

Haven't been able to find surround sound speakers to work with system to upgrade system. It is an improvement in sound quality from TV speakers bouncing sound of vinyl plank floor. Bought for the value with the sale it was on and compatibility with TV I bought, if I were to do it again I'd spend a little more for a better quality system with ability to add surround.

I wasn't expecting a whole lot at this price point and still came away disappointed. I've owned all kinds of audio products ranging from expensive from the likes of Bose and Sennheiser, to bargain items. The sound quality on this soundbar is subpar, and that's putting it lightly. My complaints? The bass is almost non existent even with a sub involved. You have no idea what the volume is at because there's no indicators whatsoever. The remote is clunky and buttons consistently had to be pressed twice to accomplish a task. They don't include an optical audio cable in the box (which is the ideal method for connecting to your tv). I returned this after giving it the ol' college try for a couple weeks and went with a Vizio unit (that doesn't include a sub!) around the same price that blows this thing out of the water. I've purchased quite a few insignia branded products over the years and I've been mostly impressed. This is not one of them, trust me and spend your money elsewhere.
