I purchased this as a step up from a cheap iLive bar that I picked up 6 years ago. This Insignia bar has great audio and it packs a punch however it seemed very similar to my current bar. So, it wasn't so much of a step up - more of a step to the side. The look is very sleek and slim so, it takes the cake for that. My only REAL complaints are that the remote has terrible range - I had to get really close to the bar (and not to the side). And, when turning off the bar, it somehow turned itself back on. Thus staying on all night unless I disconnected from power.

I bought this on sale for a great price and put it on a bedroom TV. I admit I was dissapointed so I moved it to a small laptop computer setup in the family room and was suddenly happy again. Perfect for the setting and I am glad I have it. For the bedroom I ended up getting a Polk Mini sound bar and was very happy with that, so all around I think I have a win win situation. But for me, if you are looking for true Home Theater sound this is not it. But if you want to make a small TV or computer sound better this is an excellent choice and a good value.

Love it easy to use and sounds is awesome bass is great

This is connected to a Surface Pro 12. The sound is good. In this use we find that the unit emits a 60 Hz hum if the surface goes to sleep. The sound bar must be turned off with the remote when the surface is in sleep mode,

I bought this on sale for about $80 for my bedroom tv. It is appropriate for that setting. Loudness, clarity and bass are bedroom or small room quality. The only issue I’ve found is the remote to turn it on doesn’t work once it’s paired with the tv. Not sure why and it doesn’t come on with tv. I just hit the on button as I’m entering the room so no big deal.

Considering the price of this small soundbar with wireless subwoofer it puts out a great sound. I use this soundbar for our bedroom tv which is perfect.

Decent soundbar got a deal on it over the holidays for $60. Not sure if I would buy it at regular price. At full price I might spend a couple more bucks and go low end name brand. Temper expectations and you'll be happy with this.

For budget, friendly home theater sound bar it is clear and sound and subwoofer is compatible with some of the higher dollar subwoofers

For the price, this is a great value! The setup was a lot more difficult and cumbersome, so if you have enough patience, it is definitely worth it. It could be because of my TV. I didn't need anything fancy, just an enhancement to my TV because I moved my TV to a slightly larger room. Having the extra boost of audio is nice. Once it is set up, it is pretty easy to use and control. One advice: check your TV settings and options first because you may need to buy additional cords, especially if your TV is a bit older.

sound quality is good, dont like how the remotes not instant with the sound bar but its a definite upgrade from my TV sound.

For the price, a very good value. The speaker makes voices much more understandable and music a lot better than through TV speakers.

We purchased the Insignia soundbar and subwoofer because we want to enhanced our viewing experience at home. We are happy that it didn't disappoint us. Price is very reasonable and it works perfectly fine with our television and it sounded more better esp when we are watching movies at home.

I purchased this unit for a 10x8 bedroom (maybe slightly smaller) and it sounds great. The price was very good. The wireless subwoofer is very convenient. I wouldn’t recommend this unit for a living room or a larger room due to the fact that it is a smaller powered unit.

It was very easy to set and price was excellent. The subwoofer quality is great. I’m enjoying my speaker but the remote is useless

Moving from a much more complicated but outdated and space-hogging system, this is a great and affordable way to upgrade sound. I've never liked using any TV stock speakers and prefer a nice rich sound. This is better than what my TV will do, but it's definitely not the same as a true surround sound experience. But space-saving was the priority, and it definitely delivers that. Only reason for 4 stars is getting it set up was a bit confusing, but we eventually figured it out.

Great value for the price. Easy to set up and no complaints. Base level is adjustable, just not obvious from set-up instructions.

I've enjoyed the new sound bar with bass speaker. It was easy to install and ot has good quality sound- the only down side is it has to be really close to my tv to work without interrupting on the bluetooth setting-. Great value overall!

My husband had been wanting a sound system For a while now.. but he didn't want to spend too much money on one We found this one on sale and he decided to buy... he set it up as soon as we got home It was easy to set up and it sounds amazing Now we enjoy our shows a lot more.. Definitely recommend it for the price its A1
