(the fire tv settings to set it up were another matter). does not have a treble or bass boost separate from the system settings, is the only drawback i can see. worth the half price paid.

Ok but not completely set up

The directions are for if you have the same brand tv so thats disappointing.

Paid about $80 bucks for it and is very decent for the price. The sound is OK. Only dislike is the fact that no digital mini screen on it. It has colored lights to show what input is on and also can’t see the volume level. Not a big deal. Also as other reviews mention, yes the control has to be relatively close and directly pointing at the sound bar to work good but it could be batteries, maybe new ones would improve?

Get yourself an optical audio cable when you purchase this as well as it doesn't come in the package. Not necessary but helps gives the best sound quality. Sound is deep and rich with a punchy bass if you turn it up a couple of notches. Perfect addition to my basement where I love to watch movies. This really enhances my setup! Would recommend. **Initally, this product did not work with my TV using the included RCA audio cables. I purchased optical audio cable and it worked fine after that.

The subwoofer is decent. But that’s where the sound quality ends. I can’t believe how bad it is. I was playing some Taylor Swift for my daughter and her acoustic guitar just about disappeared! She had no “S” sounds in her vocals. I compared this to the built in speakers in our 5 year old TCL TV. Which is no champion, by any stretch. And the tv sound definition was far superior. Now granted the tv has no bass at all. Then again, If you go into another room all you hear is thump thump thump from the subwoofer of this thing. The sound is completely unbalanced. This is why I’ve learned to mistrust online reviews. It’s like people hear a little bass and they’re happy. Look, if you are listening to these and you’re playing music, you are losing out on a lot of sound definition! These are terrible. One star for a little subwoofer that puts out an amazing amount of bass. So you think you can’t get good sound quality at this price level? My creative speakers on my pc are much better than these. So is my little jbl sound cylinder thing. That’s 100 bucks. This bar? It’s terrible. Sending it back.
