I bought this soundbar for my bedroom and didn't expect it to blow me away for $70. It sounds good and definitely has more bass than my TV speakers. And since my new Insignia TV has Bluetooth, I was able to mount the soundbar just above the headboard of my bed for even better sound. Not a bad deal for the price. Would buy again.

Sound quality is good. Noticeable improvement over what's built-in to my television. Initial setup and control is somewhat confusing, but after some usage operation is clear. Choice of color changing light for input source might not be best for someone with colorblindness. I wish there was a volume indicator and a way to control volume from my television without a separate remote. I recommend trying different audio mixing/tuning presets on the remote to see what works and sounds best.

This is a great sound bar if your not picky about getting a great surround sound movie experience. This has enough volume and decent bass to give it a little extra. For the price is was a great deal when compared to tv speakers. Biggest complaint is it doesn't show the volume level on the tv display or the sound bar itself.

EASY setup, great sound, and bass for a small to medium size room. Bluetooth option is great, can connect to a smartphone and listen to my purchased music

Sounds good for a full size sound bar. Only complaint I have is the remote you have to press on/off button more than once no matter how close or far you are to the sound bar for it to turn on/off. Sub puts out decent bass. Pretty good quality for the price you pay.

Great sound for the price. This is made for a bedroom or smaller room (although it can get loud if u want) but not really for a family/living room. Super easy to hook up (does NOT support HDMI so we used Digital Optical for better sound).

Very good sound and solid base. For the price, it’s an excellent option to have. Only thing that would make it better is if you could see the volume level on the screen or soundbar itself as in other brands and models. Other than that, I recommend it for those that want a good sound system without paying an insane amount of money.

I have purchased two of these, both as gifts for family. They enjoy the multiple sounds options (news, movies, music) for quick program listening environments. The wireless subwoofer makes it easy to separate out the bass across a room provided you have enough outlets in your space. They have been happy with their gifts and use them daily for TV watching. I have never had a problem nor complaint with an Insignia/Best Brand product. While this is not an audiophile-level cinema soundbar system that will blow the back wall out of the house, it is more than sufficient for the everyday user and the added subwoofer adds a much needed element to movie audio to give it an extra punch. On a budget? Have a smaller space? Then get this.

The price was amazing. Really happy with this product. Easy to install and it sounds good. I was surprised on how loud it is.

The sound is good, I haven't connected the subwoofer, yet. Set up was super easy. The only thing I don't like, and I don't know if it's the tv or the bar, is that there's no display on the screen to check the volume number. Otherwise, I like it.

Good Bass and sound, very loud . Which is great! Small enough to fit right under my Vizio 65’’ tv. The Subwoofer is really good on bass delivery. My only problem which may not happen to you but since my sound bar is really close to my wifi( can’t put it anywhere else) the subwoofer disconnects and has trouble keeping connection because of the wifi channel. So that’s unfortunate but unless you’re listening to music , which i do a lot you won’t notice it too much. i’ve looked for fixes and couldn’t find one. Also There’s not a lot of diagnosis information for this. The manual is pretty useless. So if you can’t get it to work, google everything.

Insignia never disappoints me. This speaker is worth it. It will add a different dynamic to how you watch movies at home. I also bought the optical cable for better sound quality, waiting for it to arrive. The mode to watch movies and listen to music is the theater mode. Setup was a bit complicated for me because it did not follow the instruction manual but it is be easy to setup once you follow the directions. Lot of bass from the subwoofer and it can sometimes overtake the dialogue but not to a point were it ruins your watching experience. The trick is once you setup the soundbar turn the volume on it all the way up and control the volume from your tv. This gives it more power, trust me. Also, adjust the bass to your liking. And, you get better sound quality when watching movies in 4K or 1020p.

Are you looking for a good quality soundbar speaker and the price is worthwhile? These are worth the purchase. It's perfect for entertainment like movies, games, TV shows, and more. I've had these for at least two years and couldn't be happier. I recommend picking this up for family or friends as a gift if they like tec.

The price was very good, but we all know what they say about that. The sound was a good upgrade from the TV speakers. Much fuller, deeper and less tinny. Subwoofer synched fine from the back of the room to the front, 20 ft. The build quality looked decent and I was initially excited. Three hours later, I was seriously annoyed. There were three problems. First, the tv has an HDMI-arc output? I'm not really a tv or audiophile, but my understanding NOW is that I need a soundbar with HDMI inupt. This soundbar has no input for anything except LR, or optical. So I went and bought an optical cable. The optical could not be used without creating a delay, no matter what settings I tried on this "smart" tv. If I left the tv speakers on, there was an echo effect. The tv speakers were correct, but the sound bar delayed. If I disabled the speakers, then I only got the delayed sound. Additionally, to even hear the optical at all, the tv settings had to be manually adjusted for that one setting (mentioned in manual, I forget the term, not the dolbys). Auto detection would revert to the internal speakers. Second, the remote is terrible. Laggy response and needed extended button pushes. Thinking about that, maybe the batteries that came with were already half-dead. And there was no way to use the roku tv remote. Still, the remote was not the deal breaker, the delay was. Third, the LR or headphone out on the TV to hook up the soundbar did not work great either. There was still some lag, albeit not as much as with optical, and, it sounded worse than the TV speakers. Fourth there was no headphone out on the soundbar. I plug in headphones at night directly to the TV, and they work fine. So if I had kept the soundbar, to use headphones at night would require going to the tv settings each time and changing the audio back to internal speakers, and back to the soundbar afterward. All in all a total mess, I say 3 stars because the build quality, sale price, and decent sound with optical. However, I feel Best Buy should be compiling a searchable list of TVs and accessories that are reported not to work together, so that this back and forth time wasting frustration does not keep happening. It wasn't until after my problems that I searched and found similar reports about the incompatibility between roku tvs, h-arc whatever, and this soundbar.

Fantastic for the price! Decent sound for size and you feel the subwoofer. Bluetooth works perfectly with IPad and android phone. Just need to make sure only one bluetooth device is searching at a time. Also need to switch audio feed from movies from Dolby to stereo. Speakers would go out when I played certain movies until I figured this out. Now can move from Bluetooth devices to movies with no problem. I don’t write reviews but this thing is an excellent value!

Great product if you catch it at the right price. Has really good clear sound and really good bass for basic use. The volume goes high with no distortion. Definitely recommend but only on sale. Wouldn’t buy at full price.

Sounds quality is good and set up easy. Subwoofer is bluetooth based but I haven't had any issues. Automatically connects every time. Lack of volume indicator is a minus. Plenty of ports for multiple devices and options.

This is a nice affordable sound bar with a subwoofer. It is the perfect sound and size for our bedroom t.v., it may not be big sound but being that the t.v. speaker is behind it this sends the sound forward for clearer sound.
