    My motherboard fried and I needed to get my pics and other files off the hard drive. Removed old drive, placed it in case and hooked it to new computer and pulled what was needed. Easy to use for technology challenged person like me.

    My laptop fell and would not turn on any more. I was able to use Insignia to extract all my data and save it onto a new laptop. Great for a portable back up drive and easy to use.

    Insignia HD enclosure was perfect for my task. I bought it to facilitate PC upgrade and use old HD as a backup device. USB3 interface was fast and made the job really easy. Decent price for a retail store and I would recommend it.

    As the title states, I am having one issue with it. Adding a hard drive to it and getting it to format correctly has been a concern. It is probably my fault, but I believe it should be more user-friendly. I will give another feedback review after I get it working properly. I can say that it is a very high-quality unit, and feels very solid.
