Super simple to use. Installed hard drive out of my broke computer and plugged it in to another computer. Did not do anything else and it worked perfectly.

I had used these enclosures before and at the time they were as good as they could be. Now, these work without fail and use standard USB for power. If you need to recover data of a dead laptop, this may be your salvation.

My old laptop video didn't work so I need to find a way to read the file on it hard disk in order to transfer them easily on my new computer. I have swapped several 2.5" hdd and ssd in the enclosure and it is great for transferring files from other computer or using it as a backup. Plus attaching the usb 3 cable connection to a computer usb 3 port is recognized immediately.

This was not the most expensive nor the least but fell at the high middle end. Has done very well so far at protecting the IPAD Mini. Easy to carry and props up nicely to give the open screen. Seems to do the job it was purchased for.

Was purchasing a new computer as old one was losing some functions with touch pad and case breakdown. The hard drive had been replace within previous 7 months and still usable as external memory. Hard case is a great way to make use of hard drive.

I had to havea way to connect a Samsung SSD drive to the computer it was intendedto be installed in. We had to clone the hard drive of the computer onto the SSD drivr. This item worked perfectly for that purpose.
