Great case for my old hard drive that still has info I may need to access, while keeping it safe and so much easier than having to swap.

This case turned an old unused laptop hdd into a one again usable external drive for transferring files and backup storage. Much cheaper than buying an external ssd and gets the job done.

My laptop crashed with a hard drive failure. It had a secondary drive installed with all of my data on it. This insignia enclosure let me turn the secondary drive into a USB 3.0 external hard drive. And the price was right!

I got this to run OS X from an external ssd on an iMac 4K. Great price, does the job, not as fast as expected. Wish it was thunderbolt. But the price is right and doesn't disconnect on its own. Will buy another for sure.

Got this to turn some of my older hard drives that I wasn't using into external hard drives for extra storage. Works well, and screw driver is included to assemble the enclosure when the drive is placed inside.

This is about as simple as it gets to use and has a solid build that feels very secure. USB 3.0 helped a ton when cloning my old drive to the new ssd I was installing and I then kept my old drive in there as a back up.

needed an enclosure to use the hard drive from my old Laptop on my new one, this worked perfectly. Was easy to use, no real setup needed other than opening it up and putting the hard drive in.
