I had to remove my wife's laptop hard drive that would not boot up and copy her files to a new hard drive. This enclosure worked exactly as I needed it to and made the process very easy.

Worked exactly like it was supposed to. I have a broken computer and i am now using its 1TB hard drive as an external drive. Saved me at least 50 bucks.

Very easy to attach Hard Disks from previous computers and connect to other computers. I needed to use this to restore files I lost from my previous computer, so this was user friendly.

The hard drive enclosure works very well and is very easy to use. Was able to set up the device with a small screwdriver in about 30 seconds. Transfers information better than expected.

Scavenged a 1 gig drive out of a laptop that didn't like the beverage that I dumped on it . Easy to set up, able to save info that was on it . Then used it for back ups .

Had an old external that the power cable broke. I bought this and took hard drive out of old external drive and made a new one. Worked great and was able to access all files.

The hard drive case is excellent for converting an internal hard drive into an external one. Installation is super easy. It took less than 2 minutes to get it up and running. Highly recommended.

Exactly what I needed to save my data from laptop that crashed and burned. Take hard drive out of laptop and put into this then plug into USB port on Desktop, all my work from laptop right there.

Great price and works great for my old laptops mother board went bad. Luckily the laptop Hard Drive was still fine to transfer files needed and to use as a back up for pics etc.

We had an employee wreck a laptop. We pick up this product to try and get info out of the hard drive. After using this product it is like having the laptop back. Everything that was on it now fits in our pocket, and is easily retrieved quickly.

One thing that I like about this product is that everything you need comes in the box, including a small screwdriver. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. I used the screwdriver to open my failed laptop so that I could remove the still-good hard disk. It was easy to connect that hard disk to this device and then close up the enclosure. From there, it is a simple USB plug-and-play connection to another computer, and my hard disk, with all of its files, was available to me again. As noted, this device is designed to work with a 2.5" (laptop) hard disk drive that has a SATA interface.

After I installed the new SSD in my laptop, I had a 1 TB HDD just lying around, so I have now made that my external. With this enclosure, it is very simple to do. It is a great product.

This is the second one I purchased. Very easy to install the hard drive and get it up and running.
