Purchased this to format my ssd for my old mac...this was great and it helped out a lot...not bad for price and for functionality.

Bought this to replace my current enclosure from eBay that randomly was not working. Not only this one looks solid but also offers great speed for both reading and writing.

It did the job that is was supposed to. I was up and running in 10 minutes with it.

Great hard drive enclosure. Fit perfect for a 2.5 laptop hard drive OR solid state drive (SSD). Comes with the screw driver to remove the drive connector and connect to a SATA drive.

Worked as advertised to clone a hard drive to a new SSD drive. This enclosure worked as advertised and now I can use it to put an SSD in another computer soon.

I removed the hard drive from my old computer and needed an enclosure to protect it and attach it to my new computer. It works very well and now I have 500 GB of additional storage.

Mother board in laptop died and I needed to get at some of the data on the hard disk. Took less than five minutes to pull and then put hard drive into the case. Plugged it into a USB 2.0 port and the computer system found it instantly.

I didn't even know you could pop out old hard drives and keep using them until recently. Sure came in handy to recover some files after my laptop screen gave up the ghost!

It’s a good product. Works exactly like it should don’t expect fast speed but it does what it’s supposed to do bring life to an old laptop drive.

I replaced my laptops SATA HD with A SSHD and had the SATA sitting around. I purchased this to hook up and extend the storage on my PS4. Works like a charm!

I had a keyboard & battery issue. This item allowed me to use the hard drive from the pc and retain my info. Good purchase.

There's no real reason not to give this 5 stars. It works exactly as it should with an easy installation and it's simply plug in and play! Even comes with a phillips head screwdriver.

It's a pretty simple accessory. Have a spare 2.5" ATA drive? Maybe one you're repurposing from an old laptop? Slide it in, attach the end cap with two screws, and you now have an external USB hard drive. A small Philips screwdriver is supplied. The USB connector on the enclosure is Micro-B, and the other end of the cable is USB Type-A, so you'll want to use the supplied cable.

My laptop got smashe but I saved my hard drive and this little piece of genius equipment saved me from buying a whole new laptop. I just plugged this in to a new/used one and off I wen. Simple yet effective.
