Used this as a spare drive enclosure because I had my laptop changed to a ssd. Had to find a unit that I could use as a secondary storage for my old hard drive that was removed from my old laptop. Nice attractive unit that comes with the necessary cable to attach it to your computer. A plus that a screw driver is supplied to open up the drive case. A very worthwhile buy. I intend on buying another one very shortly.

Made good use of a used laptop hard drive. USB 3.0 nice and quick response time. Case is for a sata connection. It is durable plastic.

I bought this enclosure so I could use a WD Black 750 GB laptop HDD with my MacBook Pro for Time Machine backups. The front attachment piece seems flimsy at first, but the drive is quite secure once in place. The enclosure itself it built nicely. I find the provided cable hard to detach from the enclosure, not sure of the durability of the port, so I leave it attached. In short, it works great if you need to salvage a laptop HDD or SSD, as well as using it for external storage.

Easy to install the drive into the enclosure and setup was merely plugging the drive into the USB port.

This product was able to convert my hard drive from broken lap top to portable. Great since I was able to keep all my files.

Not much to say it's a portable hard drive enclosure that I use for a SSD drive. So far it works just fine for what I use it for.

I was upgrading the laptop hard drive to solid state hard drive. I like to use my old hard drive to external hard drive. So I purchased this product. It is good product.

This kit is awesome. Never took out a hard drive before. The kit was super easy and gave quick step by step instructions.

After my laptop broke I thought I lost all my files, but the use of this product allowed me to easily retain all my information.

Device works well, but I had to find outside help to solve an installation problem. Next to no instructions included. No web based way to resolve problems. Apparently, HP has commonly used an adapter that has to be removed before their hard drives can be installed in the case. Fortunately, I found a geek site that included this info. Otherwise, I would have had to return the device.

I used this enclosure/adapter to install my SSD, it was super easy to use. I feel it’s a tad pricey as for me it was a one time use product.
