    I actually ended up taking the product back to the store since I couldn't figure out how to install the hard drive into the enclosure. Sales tech knew to take off the outer housing and removed another couple of pieces and voila - the drive slid in just fine. I've connected it to my home computer and all is well and good. I can access all of the former items (pictures, documents) . . . . well done.

    this enclosure worked well with my quick needs, the usb 3.1 versions are better. the ssd does seems to shift and feel loose inside but was easily fixed with foam.
