    This case was an excellent solution for me. My now "bricked" laptop's HD was able to easily be removed and placed inside this case allowing me immediate and easy access the files. A great alternative to thumb drives and access to files when the "cloud" is not available or an option. Easy to use and gain portability to the data you desire.

    After panicking when my laptop crashed, I searched online for solutions to salvaging the hard drive. This little device was a life saver and though I still don't have a new laptop, I carry this around and plug it into other PCs which then display all of my salvaged data. A cheap solution to a very expensive problem.

    Pretty straightforward product. Put your old hard drive in and you now have a portable. Feels rugged, but not intending to drop it a bunch to find out. A bit pricey in my opinion, thus only 4 stars. Can find some out there for much cheaper. Only got it because I needed it right away after an SSD upgrade.
