One time i forgot and it boiled over just like you were cooking it in a pot. When you rinse it it gets all the starch off the rice. Very easy to use

Good little rice cooker

This rice cooker makes good, fluffy rice fast, I’m very happy with it. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it’s very hard to read the water lines inside.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was being skeptical buying this since there are others that are more expensive and might be better, but this did exactly what it supposed to and more, the instructions of how to cook it's very simple and makes the job as intended, would get other Insignia products to compare them to the expensive counterparts.

This one is not really one of those amazing all function ones but this one does the trick everytime and I love the size. It’s perfect to make enough rice for two people per meal. It also has a steamer top to make a little veggies or fish or something steamed as the main course. I really enjoy this little machine

Great Rice Cooker

It is perfect for my husband and myself. It is a non stick container which washes easy and has a warming feature which keeps the food warm when done. It's a perfect size and price!
