Love how simple this little thing is. I've only cooked rice a couple times in it, but even for someone like me who isn't great in the kitchen, this was a breeze. The fact that it times itself is great, no guesswork on when the rice is "done"

This rice maker simply works. Follow the instructions as they are and you will get the perfect rice. Do make sure you rinse your rice very well till water is almost clear or you will get mushy rice.

very good rice cooker, and easy clean up-the rice does not stick to the inner pot of the cooker.... also comes with a circular tray that can steam cook veggies and meats... got it for 19$ can't beat that

I'm not speaking from experience as this is our first rice maker, but we've used it several times and it works like a charm. The non-stick coating allows you to keep it warming for long periods and it cooks the rice perfectly. Throw in a little stir fry and you have yourself a meal.

What an AWESOME machine. Way better than expected. Perfect for an easy lunch or snack. I was very excited about this cooker. Right out of the box I gave it a quick wash and made myself lunch.

Cheap, easy to use and worth the money, well maybe. I used it today for the first time to cook rice and it turn out excellent. I gave it 4 stars cause I could’ve gotten the same thing on amazon for cheaper but I just chose insignia based on reviews on this

This rice cooker is perfect! No timing or checking needed. Just add the ingredients and in just minutes, you'll have perfectly cooked rice and you don't have to worry about turning it off. It automitacally switches to warm mode and stops cooking. Also very easy to clean.

Omg this is my favorite rice cooker of all time!! I’ve used it so many times a week, I make rice on my break and by the time munch comes I already have rice !! So useful

Perfect for a couple. We have an 8-quart rice cooker/air fryer from another brand. It became difficult to clean it daily after use. This small one is perfect for both of us. Works great.

I picked this up after my son became addicted to rice. He only wants the store bought rice so I decided to give this rice maker a try as it appeared to be similar to the store machines, but much smaller. It works great and is Son Approved. Very happy with it especially for the price.

We shopped and finally found this to be the perfect size for 2-3 people portions - varies with individual's appetite. Steam exhaust hole may seem larger but not a problem if you don't put excessive water in it. Good quality build and price point.

Best way cook rice comes out good every time. I also make yellow rice in mine turns out delicious. Easy clean with no sticking.

Little big big for a single person. Its a good choice for a family of 2 or more. But its very big for 1 person. If you're single, choose some other smaller model.

It was a gift for my mom. She loves rice. She uses it just about every other day. I plan on buying myself on soon. Oh it was on sale, such a plus!

Awesome little cooker. I don’t like having to scrub my appliances when rice gets stuck at the bottom. This is an easy clean and doesn’t take too much space.

It is an accesible rice cooker and it does the job. Can't expect things other cookers can do but for the price it would be silly to. Seems to be well made and haven't had any problems.

I tried it with white rice only so far. works like expected but follow instructions carefully for desired results on the rice. Might steam yellow sweet peppers same time when cooking rice with the added component.

Worth every penny, I can not believe how easy this makes rice. Not that it is hard to do rice on the stove but this just allows you to get it set and then leave it be until done. Very simple.
