We shopped and finally found this to be the perfect size for 2-3 people portions - varies with individual's appetite. Steam exhaust hole may seem larger but not a problem if you don't put excessive water in it. Good quality build and price point.

Slightly bigger than the old school rice cookers so the old lid won’t fit. Liked the spray on lining on the rice cooker, versus the old aluminum ones. Gets the job done!

Love this product, saves so much time in the kitchen. The rice cooks perfectly and it helps to have the steamer basket to steam veggies. I would definitely recommend this item.

Worth every penny, I can not believe how easy this makes rice. Not that it is hard to do rice on the stove but this just allows you to get it set and then leave it be until done. Very simple.

I picked this up after my son became addicted to rice. He only wants the store bought rice so I decided to give this rice maker a try as it appeared to be similar to the store machines, but much smaller. It works great and is Son Approved. Very happy with it especially for the price.

I tried it with white rice only so far. works like expected but follow instructions carefully for desired results on the rice. Might steam yellow sweet peppers same time when cooking rice with the added component.

This cooker delivers perfect rice every time I use it. It's very convenient and the rice stays warm till it is dished. It can also be used in cook other things apart from plain rice.

This is the second rice cooker I have purchased from Best Buy. I sold my first one when I moved from Colorado. When I got to California I immediately bought another one! Easy to clean, dependable and a great price!

Way better than what I thought! it works fast and it is easy to be used! It starts immediately and in the short time it does the work, it is way faster than my previous ones.

It’s bigger than I expected which is good and advance for us. I like it and it seems good quality but one thing complain this kind of rice cooker, when it’s boiling the water goes everywhere on top even the lid have a small hole to release air

The family does not eat that much rice but when they do, it is nice to have a small rice cooker that does not take up too much space on the counter as other foods are being prepared. Insignia scores again with another reliable well working product.

Oh my, the best thing ever. I had an older cooker but it was extremely smaller. This is a great six for a family of 5. My husband and boys love rice. I highly recommend

Getting this rice cooker was the best decision. No more boiling water for rice. It comes out nice & fluffy. It cooks & goes to warm after it cooks. I love it.

I was wondering if Insignia is a good brand for cooker and steamer but as it was for 9$ i thought of giving as shot and i was surprised by it.Its so big and it comes with measurement cup and spatula and even steamer bowl.Its worth each penny! Happy with the purchase.

Got this cause i got tired of making rice out of a pot.. tried it a few times following the instructions and it come out right every time.. love this thing

Perfect! Not complex at all. Works as intended. Can cook upto 2 cups of cooked rice without any issue. Just sometimes the water overflows but i guess its with every cooker.
