Makes the cooking (and cleaning up operation afterwards) really easy. However, it still takes the same amount of time as the traditional method of cooking the rice in a pot.

We have used it 4 or 5 times now and it has done the job.. the wife loves it, and that is all that matters.

Love my rice maker!
